A writer’s life is never dull, especially when it comes to penning opinions, crafting lesson plans, creating how-to articles, and dispensing advice to aspiring authors in all genres. Here are some of the places where you can catch up on what I’m doing:
For several years now I have been the screenwriting editor of WRITERS JOURNAL, a bimonthly print magazine which has an excellent reputation in the writing community. Not only do I offer tips on how to write your best screenplay but also share interviews with some of the leading experts in the film and television industry.
This remarkable online resource is targeted to K-12 video arts instructors and provides the latest technical news about cameras, sound systems and post-production editing equipment; new book reviews; information on what schools throughout the U.S. are doing to produce in-house programs; and creative lesson plans by yours truly to ignite young imaginations.
If you live in the San Gabriel Valley (California), you have probably seen my bylines in these two weekly newspapers. In addition to writing feature stories and advertorials about community businesses and charitable organizations, I also write the majority of advertising copy for the annual special edition, “Women of the Foothills”.
My work also appears hither and thither in publications such as WRITERS DIGEST, THE WRITER, SCRIPT MAGAZINE, CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE CHOCOLATE LOVER’S SOUL, and CUP OF COMFORT FOR WRITERS.
